U.S.A.: PENTAGON ANNOUNCES FURTHER MILITARY EXPENSES CUTS

The US aim at cutting costs for military programs that are late or have overrun budgets, said Michael Mullen. Admiral Mullen, head of the Chief Heads of Staff, during an interview to be aired by Bloomberg on October 15, said that cuts follow the 20 programs dropped in 2009 by Defense Secy Robert Gates. These cuts will generate 2012 budget savings amounting to 300 billion Dollars on the long term.
