Yahoo’s Sandeep Gupta, head of the mobile application development team, has resigned. The TechCrunch website said Gupta is not the first to leave. Yahoo has confirmed the departure. Gupta previously worked at Apple where he was in charge of the iPod software. At Yahoo he launched the iPhone apps for Yahoo!Finance and Yahoo!Messenger and the iPad apps for Yahoo! entertainment.
