US UNEMPLOYMENT PAY FIGURES FALL MORE THAN EXPECTED

Unemployment claim figures in the USA fell by 19,000 units, against an expected fall of 12,000 units. On the average of the last four weeks claim figures are down from 464,250 to 462,750 units. Ongoing claims have fallen from 4,593 to 4,548 units.
