Singer Bruce Springsteen will be present at the premier of a documentary on his 1970 albums. “The Promise: The Makinf od ‘Darkness on the Edge of Town’ ” directed by Thom Zimny will presented on September 14 during the Toronto International Film Festival. Springsteen will participate in a conference chaired by actor Edward Norton on the relation between music and cinema in America. .
