USA: FORGETS TO PAY PREMIUM, FIREMEN STAND AND WATCH

An American didn’t pay his insurance premium so the firemen stood and watched while his house burned down. The incident occurred in South Fulton, a little town in Obion County, in Tennessee. The firemen sat with their arms crossed even if the defaulter Gene Cranick offered to pa “any amount”. The ill-fated had forgotten to pay the 75 Dollar annual premium that would have assured him the fire-fighting service.
