USA: MID-TERM ELECTIONS, LESS SEATS WILL GO TO WOMEN

For the first time in 30 years, the number of women in the US Congress could drop. This, according to a group of independent researchers, is a possible scenario for the November mid-term elections. The reason: in times of economic crisis, voters prefer to elect male candidates. At the moment, the House of Representatives counts 56 Democratic Congresswomen and 17 Republicans while at the Senate, there are 13 and 14 respectively.
