On Thursday, a short lived but furious squall has hit New York, killing one person. The victim was killed by a tree that fell crushing his car. In addition to the trees, several electric lines were downed, keeping in the dark some 30000 Queens and Staten Island residents. The storm caused delays in all three NY airports.
