Jayden and Isabella were the most frequently chosen names for newborn babies in New York in 2009. The news was reported by the Big Apple’s Health Department. Jayden, the name of the son of actor Will Smith, is the winning choice for the second year running. Instead, Isabella edges out Sophia, which was the favorite of 2008. Nine out of the 10 names in the girls’ top-list were already present in the ranking two years ago. The only new entry is Leah.
