Two German aid workers were kidnapped in Sudan’s Darfur region, according to a local official. The two humanitarian workers were employed by Technisches Hilfswerk (THW), a German agency that provides technical assistance to other humanitarian projects.
The agency is on the brink of withdrawing from South Darfur due to fund scarcity.
