WORLD: WHO, CRISIS IN KYRGYZSTAN COULD AFFECT 1 MLN PEOPLE

Geneva – The present crisis in Kyrgyzstan could affect one million people, including 300,000 refugees. The warning was issued by the coordinator of emergency response and recovery operations at the World Health Organization, Giuseppe Annunziata. U.S. envoy Robert Blake visited the refugee camps in Kyrgyzstan describing the situation there as a “humanitarian crisis” and expressed the concern of the United States.
