The Ukraine has proposed the creation of a gas pipeline running from Russia to Europe in addition to an existing one. “Our idea is to create a joint venture with European Union countries, Russia and the Ukraine, to build a gas pipeline crossing the Ukraine to supply addition gas transiting towards Europe”, explained the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovic , after a meeting with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who is visiting Kiev. .
