The Tanzanian Citizen has reported today some of the gruesome details of the albino murder trials which began in Tanzania yesterday.
Four men stand accused of murdering a 54 year old mentally retarded man called Lyaku Willy last November. One of the accused is Mr Willy’s own brother in law, who is alleged to have tricked Mr Willy into leaving his home so he could be butchered in private.
The court was told that Mboje Mawe, Chenyenye Kishiwa, Sayi Gamaya and Sayi Mafizi lured Lyaku Willy away from his home by promising to take him to a hospital for treatment of an ulcer on his leg. Willy’s brother in law Sayi Gamaya arranged for himself and his three accomplices to…
