WORLD: SEA SHEPHERD FREES 800 TONS OF ITALIAN-CAUGHT TUNA

Paris – Environmentalists have freed 800 tons of red tuna they claim were caught illegally in an Italian tunny net. The operation took place on Thursday afternoon and the tuna, according to the Sea Shepherd ecological organisation, were all below the minimum stipulated weight and were “clearly” netted after the end of the legal fishing season, 14th June.
