Lo United non va oltre il pari a Birmingham, cosi’ in testa alla Premier League si ritrovano insieme le due squadre di Manchester. Dopo il 4-0 del City sull’Aston Villa, in serata lo United – che ha due partite da recuperare – fallisce il controsorpasso proprio al 90′ quando Lee Bowyer, del Birmingham, pareggia l’iniziale vantaggio di Berbatov.
