ROMA – Sono state rivelate le nomination per gli Emmy Awards 2015, il più importante riconoscimento statunitense dedicato agli show televisivi. A guidare le candidature “Game of Thrones“.
Game of Thrones ha ottenuto ben 24 candidature, compresa quella come migliore serie drammatica. Tale riconoscimento, finora mai conquistato, verrà conteso con il quattro volte vincitore dell’Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, “Mad Men”. Se la serie AMC sul mondo pubblicitario di New York degli anni sessanta dovesse vincere anche stavolta, diventerebbe la più premiata di sempre nella sua categoria.
In lizza per lo stesso premio anche “House of Cards” (Netflix), “Orange Is The New Black” (Netflix), “Downton Abbey” (PBS), “Homeland” (Showtime) e “Better Call Saul” (AMC).
La cerimonia di premiazione sarà presentata dal comico Andy Samberg e andrà in scena il 20 settembre al Microsoft Theatre di Los Angeles, trasmessa in diretta televisiva dal network Fox.
